About iBAM!
iBAM! (Irish Books, Art, & Music) is a nonprofit organization celebrating the richness of Irish culture through literature, music, visual and performance arts. Founded in 2009, iBAM! brings communities together through its signature November festival at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago—an immersive weekend of artistic expression, cultural dialogue, and shared heritage.
With a deep commitment to education, inclusion, and cultural preservation, iBAM! connects generations through meaningful programming that showcases Irish and Irish American voices. Its annual Awards Gala honors individuals who have made lasting contributions to Irish culture and fosters continued appreciation and pride in our shared heritage.
iBAM! is organized and produced entirely by volunteers — a dedicated group of cultural advocates, community supporters, and creative contributors.
